Next set choose "These are extreme times" for safety. I had tried all the others and only after I changed this one as well did I keep Leliana as Divine. "You'd be perfect" is the first dialogue option if I remember correctly that triggers Cassandra is Divine as true regardless of points. The third option "Who cares about the Chantry?" takes away -5 Cassandra normal approval and doesn't give Leliana Divine points so don't choose it. There are no Divine or Cassandra approval changes for these two options anyways so don't worry about that. In the second set of dialogue options for this cutscene, avoid "You'd be perfect" in favour of "So refuse" after initial investigation options are exhausted. Regardless, here's what I came up with on how best to navigate Skyhold conversations to help Leliana and keep her plot flag true:Ĭassandra/Giselle Cutscene after Wicked Hearts, "On Being Divine." The saves that I tested this with are buried and very hard to find. I made a list of options that are dangerous/safe from memory and with Wiki/Youtube video help. You either have to flat out support Leliana with Vivienne/Cassandra or pick neutral wishy washy options or anti-Divine/Chantry options where possible. Even the dialogue option for Vivienne where you say "Cassandra would make the best Divine" sets Cassandra is Divine as true.

Any clearly supportive dialogue for Cassandra and Vivienne in cutscenes after Wicked eyes Wicked Hearts, changed the plot flag to true for Cassandra or (I think) Vivienne. Upon a couple reloads and various tests, it turns out it wasn't the only problem. So I thought that was the culprit since I completed Cassandra's thinking there's no way they could beat Leliana who's 30ish points up. After finishing up all outstanding operations and getting Cullen out front (using the clock trick to speed things up), I decided to speak to Cassandra and Vivienne about the Divine Election to get those Divine support operations unlocked. Scrolling through the plot flag viewer down to operation count, I happened to notice that Leliana who was 25-30ish points ahead was now set to "False" as Divine and Cassandra with -14 points set to "true" (also note Vivienne was like -7 at this point ahead of Cassandra). I was trying to metagame how many operations I did with Leliana, Josie and Cullen. I always do Wicked Eyes right before Arbor Wilds too so that helped. Just a few companion quests like Unfinished Business were left so I could quickly pump approval after disapproval from cutscenes. I was also lucky in that I saved as many companion/romance cutscenes until right before What Pride has Wrought and after I had done everything else in the game up until that point. I was lucky enough at the end of my newest completionist playthrough to be using a plot flag save viewer at the time. Even the notes on the Wiki's Divine Election page confirm this.
